But Mike just loves them and this one tastes very similar to my mom's recipe. I know she put pineapple in hers too and not all recipes call for it. I think it makes it more moist or something. Give it a whirl=)<br /> Sorry to hear you were sick on the day of love:-(. And , our Valentine's day was pretty uneventful. I don't really like to go out that night, too crazy. Mike got me chocolate and we grabbed lunch and we had carrot cake for dessert.kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11469397412257975932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6235763435896872909.post-58775383785544759542011-03-16T12:21:58.085-07:002011-03-16T12:21:58.085-07:00Your mom used to whip up a mean carrot cake. When I was living there, your dad would have her make them all the time to take to his work. We'd get super excited to see her making it at night, but by the time we got up in the morning they'd be gone. And poor Todd got nothing delicious this Valentine's Day. I was waaay to sick with the flu. Did you guys have a good holiday?freaked out 'n smallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00870013694422759891noreply@blogger.com
